Full version of colourful cartoon point-and-click feline adventure coming in August to Steam for Windows PC

For cat lovers, what could be better than spending a cozy afternoon with a cuddly little feline? How about a whole island full of cuddly little felines! Although in the upcoming Cloud Cats' Land, you may find some things that aren't so cuddly waiting there as well.

Players control a little orange tabby cat, beloved pet to a sailor named Captain Jack, whose enjoyable ocean cruise is abruptly interrupted by the appearance of a terrifying and very hungry sea creature. With no sign of Jack, the furry, four-legged protagonist is able to fend off the monster but is shipwrecked on a "mysterious island that isn’t marked on any map." Curiously, it's populated by cats, and off in the distance you see a lighthouse high on a hill, which seems to be your "only path to salvation." It won't be easy to reach, however, with many obstacles in your way, and even when you get there you find the lighthouse keeper has disappeared. Fortunately the cats here are "friendly and playful creatures that warmly welcome new guests." Surely they're innocent of any such mischief and wish you only the best... right?

If the premise sounds potentially ominous, its darker side stands in stark contrast to the bright and cheery cartoon presentation of this cozy cat adventure. The challenges you face are really just an excuse to explore the scenic but enigmatic island "imbued with an ancient magic," from underground caverns to lush forests, seaside cliffs and towering rocky peaks high up in the clouds. From a simple first-animal slideshow perspective, you'll pick up and combine a variety of items in creative ways to solve puzzles, and occasionally partake in minigames that test your reflexes so as not to suffer horrible consequences like getting splinters in your paw. Each cat you meet is unique, and if you're able to attract them they may just assist you along the way. But beware, as the island is also home to giant spiders and other monsters that will take wits – not claws – to overcome. Perhaps you can find common ground with even the most unusual of creatures; after all, "who said a shoggoth doesn't love ice cream?"

The full feline experience won't be ready until sometime in August, but you can direct your mouse to the playable demo of Cloud Cats' Land right away on Steam for Windows PC
